
- Contact KEF INTERNATIONAL to arrange on-site volume estimate and to receive reading material
- Go to www.kefintl.com for free onsite volume estimate.
- Review literature and discuss appliance choices with KEF.
- Receive price quote for shipping and appliances.
- For built-in ovens, electric dryers and stovetops, make sure you'll have sufficient electricity.
- Sign and fax back contract, noting any special delivery conditions. Forward first payment.
- Arrange pickup/packing date for household goods with KEF.
- Before pickup and receipt of goods delivered directly to warehouse, submit completed insurance list to us.
- At pickup make sure that a packing list is made up by the packers and that no delicates are marked PBO (packed by owner).
- As soon as you get your Teudat Oleh, email or fax (fine setting) to KEF a copy of its photo page and the photo page of your passports, the visa pages in your passports, and the first and last pages of your housing contract.
- As soon as you receive your Teudat Zehut, go to your local Customs office to have them register you in their computer system. Fax or email a copy of the Customs stamp to KEF.
- As soon as your ship arrives, make sure that you have completed all payments and inform KEF INTERNATIONAL of preferred delivery times.
- Make any last minute preparations for receiving your shipment, including preparing the site for appliances.
- Receive the shipment, keeping in phone contact with KEF regarding any problems.
- Sign the delivery receipt, noting any items which appear to be damaged or missing, and writing, "contents uninspected."
- Arrange with service companies to install the appliances, change plugs on small appliances. If you have problems with this, call us.
- For any insurance claims, fill in the form attached to the policy. Call KEF INTERNATIONAL, if you have questions.
